my question is I want to go O/O and swift has a 2010 International Prostar Skyrise and a 2010 Kenworth T2000 according to their website which in everyones opinion is the best as far as the MPG as well as the sleeper? I know they also lease a 2010 Volvo's. Which one do you think is the best?
Which would you choose?

Less than 1 year experience...and you can't make a decision on which truck YOU prefer?
Take some time and get better acquainted with the industry before you encumber yourself with a 5 year commitment to RENTING a truck. Be very careful driver, they are singing you a sweet song, the question is: do you want to dance to their music?kickin chicken, JohnP3, Native Dancer and 4 others Thank this. -
I'd shy away from all of them. 2010 means DEF to hassle with. 2010 means a much higher truck payment than anything else. I know I bang my fist on this at every possible opportunity, but CONTROL YOUR OVERHEAD! Like Otherhalffw posted.... they're singing you a sweet song.
Talk to other drivers in that situation. Meet some on your own, don't call the list of drivers they provide you. Do your research my brother, and make an educated decision!kickin chicken, Aljay, otherhalftw and 1 other person Thank this. -
If the Prostar has a Maxxforce, I would buy the KW!

But keep in mind, he is asking about a Lease truck through Swift...not a purchase until he actually rents the thing and pays for it through renting, then somehow will save up and have the balloon payment...AFTER THE LEASE!

Sounds like a good deal !!!!!!!
Kenworth is a decent name, go for it !!!!!!! -
They also lease T660's. Personally, I would look at buying a good used truck from Lone Mountain and leasing it on. No balloon payments or any hidden fees.

In this context they are 2010 model year trucks... meaning they were built in 2009 with 2007 emissions.
2010 engines are going into 2011 trucks. -
Business stuff aside, just talking about the trucks, I'd go Volvo if it had an ISX Cummins, if not, then the ProStar. I think Kenworth quit building the T2000 if I'm not mistaken.

Love our prostars! Driver comfort and ride are top notch.
