    How about a beer tanker! Best of both worlds but I would never make it out of the driveway if I got through the house with a load on. :biggrin_25525:

    I pull flatbeds and dry vans. I have never had to tarp a load on the flatbeds. Probably because it is only concrete. I like the flatbeds better because I can see what is behind me better.

    For the time I drove tank, I considered it a great job. If my LTL gig ever collapses, that'll be what I look at next.

    When I drove, I pulled a flatbed. Since I've been on the truck with hubby, all he pulls are reefers.
    Sure, there are some hassles, such as the "hurry-up-and-wait" to load/unload, especially at WalMart.
    But, I've decided that if I ever start driving again, I will be pulling a reefer. (Guess I'm gettin' lazy in my old age!!) No more chains, straps, and tarps for this gal!!! LOL :biggrin_25525:
