I currently pull refer's, I have in the past pulled flat bed, dry box and yes even a tanker yanker. I get a lot less dirty and the company i work for pays for the lumpers who unload my trailer. it gives me the time to do paperwork trip plan and even get a nap in. JJRanch.
Which would you rather pull?

I gotta say if it has less than nine axles and the neck doesnt come off of it then I really dont want to pull it there aint nothing better than trucking for 11 hours and only making 200 miles and that is a good day.
L.B. Thanks this. -
I've loaded a lot of double drop lowboys since I've been in the Army, but never got to pull one.
-
i choose other since hazardous is not mention in the choices... but i guess hazmat covers all of the choices....
the reason why? the high risk. i'm hungry for high risk -
Well i've done 3 of the 4 ( no tanker ) and i would say reefer. However i want to pull a tanker eventually. My step brother pulls a gas tanker and that sob is always home and makes more money than me! LOL

TANKERS any day of the week and twice on Sunday. The pay is better and there's hardly any wait time to get loaded and none to off load (gasoline). Most of the companies are very professional and once they train a driver they want to keep them. With the Major Oil Companies there's hardly any drivers that quit and they go on to retire. I've done van, flats, drybulk, and triples and tanks are the best.

Tanker by far... (we run HAZ), above average pay, don't have to worry 'bout weights (no sliding 5th or tandems), no having to stuff a 53' trailer and long nosed Pete into a downtown city dock built in 1942 for a straight truck, good rearward visibility... the list goes on... I love yanking tankers! (and, coming from Canada w/HAZ, no hassles at Windsor-Detroit, we have to route through Ft. Erie-Buffalo or Sarnia-Pt. Huron!)

DRY van....No lumpers,,,very few grocery warehouses. No chains no tarps no hooking of hoses....NO stinking refer unit running all night while trying to sleep....just open the doors back in....pull up shut the doors and your on your way....

Only pulled a box but am extremely bored with it. Ready to get in front of a step or skateboard come winter.
