It's a security system. You can get them at several places, with very cheap one at Harbor Freight.
I suggest looking for a "4 camera home security system" at your favorite on-line marketplace (Amazon)

    I'm with you.
    They both were at fault.
They should both have been cited for stupidity.
The merging truck should have come in behind Prime, and Prime should have maintained his speed.
By slowing down he made a situation even worse.
Really wish they could write drivers up for being stupid, but then wait, that would cause half of today's drivers to be taken off of the road.

I think on my second or third day driving, we went through Chicago when it was AFU with construction. I'm merging onto some state highway from 80, had been surrounded by cans doing 20 over the limit for 20 miles as it was, heart pounding in my chest, Jersey barrier like 6 inch from the passenger steer, and some dude comes barreling down another ramp, in big truck, blows his yield sign, so I brake, brake, brake. Let him go, continue on. Trainer says " You should of let that SOB crash into us. 100% would have been his fault. "
I'm going " Wouldn't you rather just get to Pennsylvania, and avoid the hassle? "

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm.

And he was a very good trainer.

Here's the thing. While Prime did nothing illegal, if I rode my motorcycle that way, you know what I'd be?
    Dead.

Seeing that go down, why in the hell would you continue on a path that would all but guarantee contact? You do everything in your power to avoid an accident, and it doesn't matter that the other guy was wrong, Prime had the ability to prevent this and didn't. It doesn't really matter whether it was a peeing contest or Prime just locked up and couldn't process what to do, there is no innocent party here.

Actually, I think the code section should read "driving while in condition of anal/cranium inversion."

Dave, I don't think there has EVER been a time when Chicago wasn't AFU with SOMETHING or other...
Uh, OK. Nah. I'm not gonna touch this one. It might get too messy.

Prime was a dick but it's the merging trucks fault
If there's no spot, no room, no matter the reason, you don't just bull your way out.
I would've slowed way down in the merging lane and waited for an opening or someone to let me in even if it meant coming to a complete stop.
The merging truck moved into an occupied lane and struck a vehicle that was technically driving perfectly legal.

Highway Sailor and Lepton1 Thank this.
