When entering a interstate you must YIELD to the right of way.
-
Should you have to? No, but it would've prevented this from happening. -

Merging truck by law gives away. He bullied onto the traffic right lane and should be cited etc.
Truck in right lane shares equally blame. ALL it takes is a little braking for a few moments. But Mr Flatbed held his ground out of pride or something else and that contributed to a certainty of a contact. -
sealevel Thanks this.

I figured @Pedigreed Bulldog or @Ridgeline would tell us the speed by the dashesMudguppy Thanks this. -
This is what happens when two people of even stubbornness and bull-headedness converge in the same space and moment in time. Prime is lucky he suffered no more damage than he did.
I say we vote both of them off the island. -

i think more blame to fall on prime if he had slowed to 45 rather than maintain 62, if your trying to merge and vehicle in the lane your trying to merge into slows to match your speed its going to be increasingly more difficult to merge you have 2 choices to slow to 25-35 and merge at 35 or hit the gas and pull a move like the van in the video. obviously hit the gas is not the right move but the other situation is less than ideal as well.
had prime maintained 62, truck merging is coming down the ramp at 45, prime would of been ahead of him before the end of the merge lane
if prime did not slow down to 45 like the video claims then all blame falls on the merging truckMACK E-6, TaterWagon#62 and tinytim Thank this.
