Pulling triples is like every thing else in this industry. It is a decent addition to your resume, as well as good experience. The more diversified your experience is, the more doors will be open to you.
snowlauncher, Pintlehook, upnorthwpg and 4 others Thank this. -
IIRC, we require 5 years exp before anyone pulls triples here.

My training for OSV operation consisted of watching a training film, and reading a handout.
Mike2633 Thanks this. -
Did the handout have a life insurance application in it? :^) I do like being calmly asked to do something difficult and challenging, but as I get older and see the greed behind those requests I get less easygoing.

i'm curious how far you can actually go with a triple set? So, they're legal in ohio, but what happens when you get to the borders?
Also, i think, but not sure that they are legal in Washington, but probabaly not in California etc. -
If it's legal in the next state I'd imagine you can just drive on through.
-
In Kansas I know they can only pull them on the turnpike.... was in Oklahoma today and seenot a set of frito lay 53s rolling down the turnpike had to do a double take lol
Mike2633 Thanks this. -
There legal in Ohio and Indy you just keep going. Now east bound I-76 and Ohio Route 7 there is a big drop yard where all the triples and pikers set up and break down. One of the reasons we don't run triples at work is because you end up breaking the set down and still have to send a truck to get the last trailer.
