Had that done before. They put the armed personnel in the truck to ride shotgun. I powered down the phone and kept going. I don't need to know, and I'm not even curious about the load.

A person can not just go and get a security clearance. You have to be sponsored by your company and it has to be conducted by one of the nine agencies of the DoDCAF or one of the other 3 agencies that are not apart of the DoDCAF. Here is a link and it should answer all the questions you've ever wanted to know about security Clearances. www.clearancejobs.com/security_clea...aredbrief&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=jan13
I hope this helps.Trucker79010 and aiwiron Thank this. -

Only reason I know all this stuff is b/c I've had a clearance for the last 12 years. The key is once you get one make sure you keep it current. Once that two years of non use occurs it becomes a pain in the neck to get reactivated.

I let mine lapse. Had it for 12 years and seen some pretty neat stuff. But after Hubby retired, 2 1/2 years ago, I let it go. All our stuff required teams. Also, the rates went in the bucket, for that stuff, after the DOD allowed more carriers into it.
