So just say what is going on. No need to hide the truth or speak in code here.

    No code at all.

It is a real world look at the trucking industry and the working conditions some flatbedders live in.

Yes, a load must be properly secured, but if an entire industry doesn't play by the rules and the system set up to maintian highway safety looks the other way, then my question, who is liable for the failure?

    Oh boy.

The driver is responsible. What is so hard about this concept? It has nothing to do with the industry. If a driver is leaving with a load that is not properly secured that is their problem.

But that is still not real world.

The load should be secured according to FMCSA rules.

You're correct, driver should not leave without all securement, including penalty tie down.

You are reading I lack the knowledge.

I am pointing out what is in the lane next to you.

    So what is your point?

You asked who is responsible for the load of grapes. The question has been answered several times. What more are you looking for?

I am confused as to what your point is. You repeated yourself multiple times so you must feel your point is important.

You are stuck on one small point, which I agreed with.

You aren't one of those hands that hangs out with the reverb, 250 watt linears and a roger beep are you?

How about you move on to another thread, or I guess you can just keep keying down with the roger beep if it makes you happy..

The driver is the last line of defense for the motoring public. It is the drivers responsibility, no one elses. I am brand new to flatbedding and have been putting a rediculous amount of securement on light loads until I get a good grasp on what is the best practice, legal, and safe.

    MJ1657 Thanks this.

Looks ok to me. I don't see any way that things going to dump itself unless it flips over in which case it doesn't matter, the grapes are out.

    lester Thanks this.
