Sounds as if he was on the phone also. Might have been the radio not sure. But if he was on the phone add distracted driving to the list of dumbassery

When you get to this point in your driving carrer......it's time to hang up the keys. Your health will suffer from the stress you create (bp) from other less than intelligent people. Day after day, mile after mile it will eat at you. Hello heart attack.

There is actually a compilation of that video in with 5 more. All about the same deal. I think one the car is actually at fault.

Remember, it is not your job to educate other motorists about the rules on the road. That is what police are for.
    Professional drivers do not intentionally:
    · Cut off other drivers.
    · Tailgate those you think are too slow for the lane they occupy.
    · Brake hard for those that are tailgating you.
    · Block or impede others travel.
    · Make negative hand gestures to other drivers.
Not all those motorists who cross you are trying to hurt you, we all make mistakes.
Anger is not your friend, a little courtesy and understanding can go a long way.

In one of those videos I mentioned, a flatbed pushed a car over 200 feet. Claimed he didn't know he was there. Video said neither driver cited.

The major concern I have with drivers of any vehicle is the attitude "my turn signal is on so you have to let me merge right now". ran across that type of comment several times in the youtube comments on this video.

Bottom line is the car is at fault. Regardless that the truck driver refused to let her in, she still can not merge into someone else's lane. It was his lane. Period.

I agree that he sped up, but, it was HIS lane. As for the left lane being a passing lane, he merged to the left lane early on to safely pass the flatbed. Unlike her who waited till the last minute & tried to merge unsafely into another lane of traffic. When you change lanes, you have to make sure you have sufficient room to do so safely. Even if he did speed up. It was already his lane... period. She can only change/merge lanes if she is able to do so safely. If he did speed up, even intentionally to keep her from merging, its still his lane. Unless she can change lanes safely, she cant merge. Period. You cant run into someone to make them let you in.
Once he sped up, she is still responsible for merging safely.

Disagree. He intentionally put hers and others lives in jeopardy, we are the professionals and should behave as such, knowingly letting an accident happen that he could have prevented made him in my mind a danger to everyone on the road and unprofessional.
