Free is a usually a great price. I think I paid around 1800 for mine. No regrets spending that money.

My work installed a new cloth legacy silver in my company Western Star after I stated I was going to go buy a new seat because I couldn't take the factory installed western star seat not reclining back.

IWhat a piece of Krap. The cloth is wearing in just A few months and I am easy on stuff.
It has no support and it is killing my butt from having so little support and cushion in it.

The factory Western sStar seat with a quarter million miles of butts on it still had better support than my new Legacy. And after a steam clean it looked like new.

Been looking at used trucks to buy in the Spring. Can't believe people are riding around on these worn out trashed seats 10 hours a day. And these are in newer KW 900s

A Seat is like a mattress. They don't last forever.

Seats are more important than we give them credit for. I hurt my lower back twice yrs ago as I was too cheap to buy a new one. I finally did in 2016 & it made a world of difference.

I recently sold my truck & took a co job. My back popped the other day while loading the trailer. Actually while closing the tool box door. It was nothing strenuous, just moved the wrong way & that nerve or muscle in your lower back will promptly inform you that you are doing something it doesn't much appreciate. Had actually completely forgotten about back issues until that moment.

For now have stuffed a towel between the seat cushion belts & the foam padding. Seems to help a lot. Will look for a proper fix soon. The Atlas II I purchased for my old truck was really nice for the money & showed zero wear after 2 yrs if that helps anyone else considering buying one.
