You need to not worry about how fast you can get on the road. Look at the training. You can get on the road tomorrow and wont know how to run you truck profitable. My first company was TMC yes all the rumors are true. Yes the tarps are heavy but I was lucky enough to have a good work ethic and be able to make $75000 my first year. The company reputation also landed me a new job making $105,000 a year driving locally. Home every night. You need to go with what will work for you.

Honestly there has been very very little change since the buy out. Really the biggest change is the new trailers they have recently bought. We usually have Great Dane trailers with tails, super singles, and the autoinflate tires. The new trailers being purchased are Wabash without tails, super singles or tails.

Other than that I can say with 100% honesty nothing else has changed. The day to day operations are still the same, and the only time Heartland comes into play for me is we now have access to their terminals. So may get sent there to drop your load, but thats it.

Will it last like this? I have no idea but I know it hasn't been anything like what I heard happened at Gordon or Interstate when Heartland bought them.

I don't know who you mean, which one, USPS? Not the same, although many mail routes are opening up. I'm just saying, if a company like UPS is begging for drivers with an info -mercial, you'd have to be an idiot to drive for one of these fly by night outfits, whose future is shaky at best. The next wave for the future, will be all package delivery, and Don't believe me? In this virus crap, all I see are parcel vans. FedEx and UPS will be the ones to be working for.
