What's even worse is when they don't wear gloves then drive with greasy/dirty hands. While I'm at it roll the #### window up when your done. There's a pro.

How about the drivers...who wear the safety vest all the time....driving ,fueling , even eating in the restaurant. ..wonder if he showers and sleeps in it

I mentioned my sheer hatred of seeing an OTR driver on the interstate with the vest on too

    1) For P+D, yes i and alot of other drivers here wear gloves, specifically these:
    http://www.homedepot.com/p/Grease-Monkey-Large-Gorilla-Grip-Glove-25053-030/202709681

Light enough so that you can feel everything, yet thick enough to offer decent protection.

For P+D we are often out of the truck and handling all sorts of freight, pallet jack and handtruck, liftgate latches etc. Hence the gloves. Me and a lot of drivers simply leave them on all day so as to not have to keep taking em off and putting em on etc.

    2) As far as the vest, we are required to have it on whenever were at a terminal or unloading in traffic or other hi-risk situation. Technically we are not supposed to have them on while driving or at a customer or otherwise in public, but it gets so busy sometimes..................
