Maybe being a new driver these local company wont hire him! I wouldn't limit yourself to just Prime and US.

 

Half of those aren't even trucking companys, there was 2 brokerage firms an escort servise ect.

You talk to a broker who is likely to work with some local O/O other companies.

You got a good paying job working for a local company that pays you better and treats you better than a mega carrier.

 

When ever I needed a job I just applied for a trucking job.

 

you can find those in the local newspaper also.

 

Do SOME RESERCH...SEEING THAT I DONT HV ONE NICE THING TO SAY ABOUT US XPRESS....OTR THERE IS A SLIDEING SCALE..AND FOR A BRAND NEW GUY..I MEAN YOUR LOW END IS 19CENTS PER MILE..UP TO 30 SOMETHING LIKE THAT...I JUST TOOK 2 WKS TO TRY AND FIND SOME LOCAL WORK I COULD LIVE ON STRUCK OUT BIG TYM..SO ON THE BUSS I GO..ANOTHER MEGA. *****

 

Unfortunately not all of them. I work for Conway, and you can only find are jobs online and you have to go to our website to apply, like a lot of other ltl companys.

 

You might do better around Albany .......... also some fuel hauling outfits around there .
