I'd say Prime Inc out of the two. I'd also take a look at Roehl and HO Wolding and see if they hire out of your area.

Thanks for answering. I did take a look a ho wolding but they didn't hire me because they don't have any lanes that go by my house. That was their reason roehl I haven't looked at but my first choice looks like prime. I have called and asked tons of questions and prime seems to be the best fit. Ppl just say not to join a refrigeration company first because its tons of sitting.

Both companies have pros and cons, I would say flip a coin.

I have had a pretty good experience with Swift. Just finished my first year. Went to their school, which I have now paid for with my year of service. If I stay another year the cost is reimbursed to me. I made $33,600. At this point I'll start looking at some options, but will stay here until I find something better. I wanted to go OTR my first year, and have really enjoyed it. Not sure if I want something local yet.

Anyway, my point is, the "Megas" can be a good place to start.

What about Heartland Express? They have several regional routes available, and they pay extra for New England. I don't know anything about them except for what I've read, but you may want to check them out.

I may have spoken too soon. Looks like you need a years experience to work for them. But keep them in mind for when you do get your year in.
