Keep in mind that Schneider is turning towards an automatic fleet. You might love that but if you get some years in and move up to another company you're going to be at a disadvantage in that discipline. This is all subjective though.
A perfect company for one person could be a terrible company for you. Look at things that are important to you and weigh out your options.
For instance list some things that are a must, like pet friendly, weekly home time, passenger policies, etc...this could rule a company or two out completely for you without needing to do much research and wasting your time.
I wouldn't base my decision solely off opinions of other drivers for that reason, find all the facts you can and decide what works for you.bstrong3 Thanks this. -
any 7/3 that I have heard of is slip seating so sharing a truck. Scheider seems to have the best training out of all the companies. I drive 1 1/2 hours to my terminal and it's nothing. Home weekends so only do it twice a week.

I know you are new to trucking and me too but the longer i drive the smaller the company i want to go to. melton calls me all the time and they pays i think around 40 cents a mile for starters and trust me they run but you have to stay out a month trust me i know a guy that works there he does good .. just a heads up
