You will have your ups and downs with any company. Trailer repairs and trailers searches comes in spurts. I have went 2mo without any issues. I have went back to back with trailer issues. Its part of the game, when you use someone else's trailers.
Who's all leaving the choice program?

Absolutely... And I'm not gonna pay 500-600ba month to lease a trailer with these rates.. Nah I'll put up with the trailer bs.. It's not coming out of my pocket lol oh well
redoctober83 Thanks this. -
I forget about that at times while in the moment of being frustrated. I need to stay my course so I can finish paying off my debt this summer and then start saving up that money I send each month towards debt! I'm looking forward to not spending $3500/month on debt reduction.

I have days where I get soooooooooo pissed at the ridiculousness I want to leave, I really do but often have to calm my nerves and remember the big picture.
One example, I was bobtail at an OC recently and needed a trailer.
Sent a few messages in hours ahead of time knowing I'll need trailer, of course times up and no update.
Call in (only on hold 20 min this time) and they assign me a trailer supposedly on the yard. Of course it's not there, I go on the mobile app with the trailer tracking and see that trailer is located hundreds of miles away from me.
If I can see the trailer on an app is far away from me don't they? Aren't trailers logged every time you go in and out of an OC? It just seems sooooo dumb, almost like they pull a trailer number out of a hat.
That wasn't the first time this happened either.
The lack of organization and effort at times really bothers me.
If say I was Landstar, instead of point and click loads I'd been dealing with BS brokers calling in all the time.
Shorter loads would suck because it's more live loading/unloading. Plus here we have lots of open window appointments. Those open window drop and hooks are real productive easy loads when they work out and lots of them are offered. We have all this contract freight here and I can run predictable lanes, would I get that else where? See things like duddie say here he gets more home time easier and that's probably a reason why.
A lot of things piss me off here but there's some crap everywhere you go. I'm sure I'd hate speaking to brokers everyday and live load/unloads endlessly.
No job is perfect, guess it's whatever works best for you and makes you happy.drvrtech77 and redoctober83 Thank this. -
I'm wondering the same thing. Some people said they were leaving, when the new contract came out. Others quit posting.
