PC games almost always have better graphics. The reason? Console hardware is outdated. Modern PC graphics card blow then away. Consoles are stuck on directx 9. PCs are using directx 11. Also, PC games tend to support dedicated servers for multiplayer.

Not even close. I dont dare play any FPS's on the road, well there are a few places around the country where the 4g speed or wifi is good enough. but those are few and far between and even then it just makes it playable. Its not like my home connection (I use buisness class at home) where anything over 50ms I complain about. And the difference between somone playing at 30ms vrs somone playing at 100ms will be around 1.5 K/D.

Thats one reason I like eve, a 100-300ms ping is not really going to affect your gameplay. Which is generaly what you are going to get with sprint. World of tanks is the closets thing I have come to a FPS that is playable at those pings. And even then I notice a difference in my rank from my home connection to my road connection.

I was playing last night on a pretty good 3g connection. I'm not that hardcore about it though. It's just fun for me. I'm still amazed at the technology. My last game console was an Atari. On COD I usually score about 7/9 or 9/7 somewhere in that range. Sometimes better sometimes worse. When I'm on a 4g connection it seems as good as cable dsl.

As an online gamer almost since they started, I picked up Eve Online this week just by seeing it mentioned in this thread. I am a huge Civ fan and have always loved the old Wing Commander and Privateer games. Eve seems to combine both. I think I might really end up liking this. Thanks for the heads up!

You should check out the corp Eve University. Its basicaly a newb training corp run by players. They will help you get started in the game as it can have a steep learning curve for new players.

And stay out of null sec for a good long while as a noob. You'll get owned by a roaming gang or gate camp almost immediately.

Goofing around and had a good scoring game. Notice the guy below me with 44 kills. I believe that's what they call a try hard.
