44 kills? Seriously? I'm lucky to have less than 44 deaths! I suck at FPS but it don't stop me from playing!

Lulz, noob. I don't really play mw3, but I've scored over 100 kills and 4 deaths on BF3.

Yea, I'm a PC only gamer. I have a water cooled Intel i5 2500K @ 5.1 Ghz + water cooled tri-fired Radeon 7970s setup and a 1440 Resolution IPS monitor. I can run BF3 on ultra settings at 1440 resolution and still run over 100 FPS. Geek-ness FTW!

Nice. Cant see the pic though Custom loop? Mine is a dual custom loop. You running 5.2 with HT on? If so, that's quite nice. I haven't taken pics since adding the two other graphics cards, but here's my rig when it was a single card. Complete with crucial m4 SSD, 16 gig DDR 3 mem at 1600mhz with 7-7-7-24 timings, and even cables unisleeved in para cord.

Now it has an Asus Maximus board to support the tri fire. Also now has a seagate 1200w PSU.

What size inverters are you guys using, and how often do you guys go threw them? I see when you had the single card you where running a 750 watt power supply. but I would emagine once you put the other two in you would need a 1,000 watt, And I know my 700 watt power supply plus the 23" monitor, plus the G15 keyboard plus the G18 mouse and psyko headseat tends to make my inverter work hard.

I acualy have an 18" fan that I lay over my inverter when I am playing to help keep it cool.

I have been thinking of upgrading to an I-7 but have been worried about having to put in a larger power supply that would cause problems with the inverter in the truck.

Also have you had any problems with the SSD's? while running on the inverter? I just got a new HD earlier this year and had debated on SSD or mechanical. And again thow whole power issue scared me away from SSD. I figured the power iregularities in the truck might have caused premature issues with the HD so I just stuck with the 10,000 rpm barracudas.

I am probly just being parranoid about the power flucations, becouse I do run a monster power bar that cleans the signal before it gets to my PC. (works good too cleaned up all the static in the speakers and headphones).

This rig is at home. I'm home most nights. I said above I had to upgrade to a 1200 wart PSU. Do t worry. A 700 watt will power any single CPU and single GPU setup.

SSDs made by crucial and intel are some of the most reliable hardware on the market.

Quality PSUs filter and clean up dirty power, so I wouldn't stress. If you're worried, put a backup power supply in the line between the inverter and PSU.
