Stevens training school is $4200. They offer a no credit check, interest free loan paid back at $27 per week for 3 years. If you remain with them for 1 year they will continue to finance until paid, even if you go work for someone else. If you leave before 1 year, the entire remaining balance is due immediately.

Well said. Your first mistake is in believing everything you're being told. And to me, You sound very apprehensive about the whole thing. You might consider a different line of work. This isnt a job, its a life style.

4200 for a 3000 course tells me they are getting $1200 interest from you.
But if it works for a you, go for it. -
Where did you see $3000.? I'm just relaying info I saw on another site.
-
I actually have their paperwork right in front of my face, They will be sponsoring me at a community college, the price is $6,500 and the payback is $25/week. I'm not sure what website you're looking at, but it's either outdated or incorrect.
It's a lifestyle to you, Every trucker I've talked to in the past week (and there have been quite a few because I live a few miles from a Loves truck stop) I'd say 9/10 says it's a job and they'd rather be doing something else, but the pay is good. -
this is where I see it.
