Yeah, on a 2 lane, with a lot of hills and curves, and you're the fifth one behind a vehicle doing 35, when conditions do not warrant it. You go right ahead, and attempt the pass.

If you're comfortable with more than what the right lane is offering, then you go in the left and pass it. If you're not comfortable with passing it because of conditions, then it sounds like you're right where you should be. You don't get to be both afraid to pass and also mad at people in front of you in the right lane for going "too slow". I would hate for a new driver to read this thread and think they're going to piss off other drivers if they're not driving fast enough in poor conditions.Last edited: Dec 4, 2025 at 3:16 AM
