That's very gallant. But what if months go after months and that's all there is? Are you going to go out of business and let those who were less dignified about those rates to jump on the next gravy train? The options are that you either live off your savings or mitigate running for less with spending less and living off your savings but the savings must be available. However, they always go faster than anticipated and to me that hurts more than running for lower, not very impressive rates.
Whose fault is it that the rates are so low?

I am not an owner operator but a company driver. Y'all would know..is it because of all the foreign drivers out here now hauling all this cheap freight?? I took a break from trucking for about a year and since I've been back OTR the past 6 months I swear the amount of them has at least tripled.
It's really astounding. Just making an observation. And I dont blame them at all, who doesn't want a better life, but Lord our govt allowing this..maybe I am wrong , sure there are other factors but this seems to be a big one. -
The whole goal is to cut out the owner operators. They are succeeding.

Regardless if it keep truck posted even in this market some broker in a bind in the afternoon usually will call as long as I'm not in dead market.

Someone needs to throw out a number so that everyone knows exactly what cheap freight is. How can everyone stick together without a definitive definition of cheap?
