You can pretend thats true, but its basically every time theres a trucking "boom" year, the number of foreign truck drivers increases because americans dont want to drive and foreigners are cheaper to pay. 21 still had covid high rate numbers, biden had little to nothing to do with it.

 

Biden most certainly DID have something to do with it. The false shortage of drivers narrative became real due to covid and the trucking industry has been destroyed by importing cheap labor. All the "advances in saftey" for the past 15 or 20 years have been for nothing because they're running over and killing people.

 

I would submit...there is indeed a shortage of commercial truck drivers....:

• who are consistently polite
• who are genuinely respectful
• who are truly professional-grade
• who look professional when they step out of their cab

Flip-flops need to be banned… I see more and more customers that I go to with signs posted showing a picture of flip-flops with a circle with a line through it…

 

That or all people that drive a truck be shown what happens when you wear shoes or flip flops and your foot gets smashed or something heavy dropped on it. May make some think twice.
