    I always wondered about that. He was a moderator and just stopped being here. Same with Burky.

    Reminds me of an old Randy Travis song:

    "Diggin' up bones, I'm diggin' up bones...."

    Burky wrote that about 46 months ago.
    Three days later, Mack E-6 replied:..............................

    "I'm sure there are other ones that are just as old".

    Hmmmmmmmmm
    I wonder if they realized how long the shelf life of a thread can be, back then? If they thought three years was pushin' the limit, here we are four years after that, --- still readin'.
    How cool is that?

    It sure is, REDD.
    Amazing, no?
    I don't know when The Trucker's Report first came on the scene, but I would imagine this thread is from around that time frame. I think it's kinda neat to take a gander back at years gone by from time to time.

    Even after seven years, this thread is still informative, educational, and best of all, entertaining. I'm thinkin' it'll still be that way in 2018. I hope we're all here to find out.

    Good question, PHP.
    I've wondered that myself since the only time I see any of his posts
    is when somebody brings an old thread up from the archives.

    YeaH!
    Burky too.

    That's three missin' persons.
    What about CyberGal, and LeannaMarie?
    Anybody know their where-abouts and/or how they're doin'?
    If anyone is in communication with 'em, tell 'em ol' AfterShock is
    wavin' 'em a HowdY. :hello2:

    Me too, amigo, ....... me too.
    Feels sorta empty without 'em.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I hear some folks would go to extremes to get away from 4-wheelers and their crazy highway antics.
    Who asked "How far would they go"?
    Good question.
    Your answer is below...........................
    MaN-0-MaN, Fallinangel, .............. you don't mess around. From the Panhandle heat to the deep freeze waayyy up north. Thirty years of Big truck truckin' and you're still up for the Ice Roads?
    Good for you! :salute:
    Any particular reason why you're attracted to the Ice Roads?
    Thirty below zero?
    Ain't that about 90 degrees less than Florida's weather during the same time frame? Maybe even more?
    That's gotta be a system shocker.
    Good luck.
    Keep us posted?
    MACK E-6 Thanks this.
    If you take time and check the facts, you would know that years ago the federal government and AAA did a study and confirmed that 80% of truck and auto accidents are caused by the auto.The reason being that the auto driver does not understand the stopping distance a truck needs when the auto decides to cut in front of him
    Four wheels and skibum_63 Thank this.
    WOW! some one has no idea on who really is at fault most of the time, more wreaks are caused by the 4-wheelers than the 18-wheelers, you need to get your fact right anonymous, or maybe thats why your anonymous, because you do know the true facts and are just starting crap?
    Wow, this is by far the biggest joke I have ever heard, I've only been out here for four short years, and yet I've seen four wheelers do things that make me want to either get out and beat them or quit driving. Not that I've never seen other CMVs do some crazy stupid stuff either though...
