A Century over a Cascadia? Not all Cascadias ride rough and are noisy.
For some reason I have a mental image of someone plunging a toilet.

I love my cascadia too. Mine don't shake anywhere looks sweeter than most and the cab keeps the noise out really well. I transfered another cascadia the other day to another yard and that son of gun was shaking like a mother....u know what it was? The passenger seat. It was air controlled and for some reason it was shaking reaaallly bad. On mine the passenger seat is just tubular and fixed. I must say they improved tons on the dash quality and cupholders a lot thicker plastic they are using now.

You talk about getting beat to death.....anybody ever crawl out of a wet cotton field in a two-stick Mack? I almost wished I had a shoulder harness seat belt and helmet

I have been in just about every make out there over the years, the MAKE of the truck is NOT as important as the SPEC'ING of the truck.

For the last 12 years we were strictly KW/PETE, last year we bought 8 Cascadia's, for the size truck we wanted and the size sleeper they fit well.

Mine are loaded, extra insulation, all the bells and whistles, all the extra cabinets etc. They are THE QUIETEST trucks I have ever been in, that includes Volvo. The "TRUCK" itself, the platform if you will has worked well, it is well laid out and comfortable, viability is good, turning radius is good, ride is good.

Now at the time I bought these the only available motor when they were ordered was the DD13, IMO, in THESE trucks, it's a pile of ####, no power, poor mileage, LOTS of issues.

So in recap, the "truck" is great, the "motor" sucks. Now if you go out and get in a stripped fleet Cascadia, I'm sure it is a different story, as I said, how it is spec'ed is the important part.

i listen to everyone talk about how noisy trucks are etc
my kw700 is so quiet i dont hear my own reefer
    turning radius could be better
no problems with this paccar either

just a touch better then my 82 cabover for comfort
but i would take my 425 cat back in a heartbeat
but she might be a lil tired by now

and i dont ever wanna see that autocar with the 318 2 stick
my ears ring just thinking about it
