It can ruin one's career by insurance companies using the data to black list drivers. Just this week a driver in Iowa was cited for having a license plate that was faded... Yes faded, although still clearly legible(I saw the plate and citation). Guess what, CSA points are added... This is the problem... Plus, warnings are also not easily contests and points are added for them also. We have talked about this before, and I'm sure you remember.

If you didn't sign a request for your company to review your PSP, your company did not see it.

Dude! You're so full of BS, you stink from 2000miles away. Who the hell do you think you're talking too? Some washout that finished truck driving training two weeks ago??

Listen dingle head, I've been in this business for a long time and I know allot of people that's been out here as long as me and few this days more then me. I know quiet a few guys that have owned and operated the same truck for more then 20 ears, and very few left that still drive their over 25 year old rigs. I know some and are friends fron VT with 1978 pit, from GA 79 kw, from KY 78 KW, and his father with 79 pit, from LA with old 76 int'l COE - he retired last year in his 70's. Good friends!

You ain't one of them, and you don't talk like any of the old school!

    So, Piss off, liar!

    I ain't army.
I never had anything to do with army and none of the stuff that goes up in there.

You have no business to equire about my service what branch or maybe a liaison from another agency or the extent of any operations I may have or not been active in.

Your problem is that you're full of BS even when it comes to trucking.

PS. Let me tell you about my generation service men:

We were young and we were soldiers and service men in different capacities. Some came home alive, some dead and some never to be heard of. But you know what? That's been nothing but a far memory for many years now, and I like it to keep it that way.

I do run E-Logs from DDL. I am an independent.

E-logs work very well and once you are used to it, you will probably never return to hand logs. It's the best invention since sliced bread.

They can be manipulated the same as hand logs, but since I run E-logs, it has been much easier to be compliant. I feel sorry for those poor guys who has the logs connected to the ECM, where the companies can shut them down on the roadside.

Every once in a while you end up in a traffic jam close to your 14 hour duty cycle. What then? During construction in Indiana on the I70, a truck burnt down on a bridge at the Illinois state line and the traffic was backed up for at least 20 miles. After a 5 hour traffic jam, plenty of company drivers were just parked next to the road, seemingly unable to move. That must suck.

Compliance at every cost ensures plenty of idiots around.

Why do you think my username is Autocar? Could it be because I own and drive an '84 AT64F with a 100" Starclass sleeper? Wanna see it? Here's a few pics

Yep, that's me. A few here know me and know I am not Bravo Sierra, like so many others. Been out here too, too long for that dung.

    BTW, it's Ma'am, not Dude.

Ya man, maybe you're right, but when you're old as I am and done things a certain way for decades now and it worked, no major accidents, just a couple of minor dings when other people hit me cause they couldn't see the pilot car, the lights and signs, and all that. I never had to run illegal or do tricks in my logs since when I'm under a load I run daylight only. I like the pen and paper since this electronic gizmos are kinda complicated to me. I only know few things on the computer and don't really like the darn thing too much.
so what now? There's no room for people like me anymore in this world just cose everithing has to be done electronic?

Remote cutoff while on the road is a cute rumor.

What in the world happened to you?? They messed with your mind and turned you into a submissive little girl just the way Gerkins likes everybody over there these days?

Oh boy, I miss good old Jeff and the way things were over there.

Man! What the hell is happening to us?

Jeff gave the keys to the last truck he gave away, to my husband and I. I liked him, don't mind Henry either. Haven't changed at all, still in it for the money and the fun. Still making money and still having a lot of fun.
