Why CSA 2010 and E-Logs are a good thing.

I would like to see a study done by OOIDA rather than some entity funded by fmcsa. An actual independent group would be better for everyone but the fmcsa. I think we already know the results, even before they get started.

Trusting OOIDA with doing a study is like trusting Timothy McVeigh with a rental truck.

 

I would much rather have OOIDA do the study than fmcsa. But, I used OOIDA as an example of an alternative that could be used rather than an entity that fmcsa can control. If the school or entity that does the study receives money from the fmcsa or government then the study would be suspect since it would conceivably be a conflict of interest. It might be good to have another study performed by a separate entity at the same time to see if the results match.
