It hooks around your ankle and runs off of your movements. Going to be hell when you're all day in wide open country you'll need some good toe tapping music, shouldn't be a problem in the big cities since you'll be double clutching every 6 seconds.
Why CSA 2010 and E-Logs are a good thing.

Regulations that run the industry are supposed to be based upon things that are directly related to the industry, not playing politics with the lives and livelihood of honest working men
We are not criminals, we are free men trying to take care of our families. To criminalize a man because he slept only 8hrs instead of 10 is beyond ridiculous. I would like to know what scientific study proved that 10hrs of sitting was much more safer than 8hrs or even 6hrs. (we are talking minimum required, so that if i want more, i can get more, but they should function on that basis and not some arbitrary 10hrs)
is 9.5 hours so much different that i am a danger if i sleep 9.5 hours?
and proof of how illogical the law is, i was thinking of two very clear examples
in Ohio in 2008, if ten trucks drove thru i71 at 65mph, they would have been given speeding tickets of 10mph over the speed limit. fines and points against their license and their insurance would have increased because they were deemed, unsafe drivers
but in 2009, without any changes to the highway, no changes to the trucks, no changes or additional training for the drivers, those same trucks could drive the same 65mph and they would no longer be deemed unsafe. Why? What as the unsafe criteria in 2008 that changed in 2009?
in Arizona, i40 going westbound the speed limit thru the desert is 75mph, and considered safe, however, after crossing over the colorado river, that same terrain, same road surface, same everything, that same driver driving at 75mph can be carted off to jail for reckless driving. Why?
neither one of these examples are based upon safety, but merely "the law", but if you are saying that compliance to the law is akin to safety, then why the discrepancy? nothing other than someone in a statehouse voted this or that, and having absolutely nothing to do with safety
i remember reading that the head cop in Ohio warning the public that trucks doing 65mph would result in dead bodies strewn all over the buckeye, and that was not only wrong, but actually less accidents
so if the people who make these laws are not basing their laws on safety, why are we enforcing this lie upon each other?snowblind, volvodriver01, Cowmobile and 2 others Thank this. -

If you think every driver needs to bend over then I think its time you bow out of the profession.
Where again?????snowblind Thanks this. -
