I have 1 to 2 loads pre-planned on me at any given time. So you do not know what your talking about. I know what I've seen running both ways. You just like the others think by sticking your head in the sand and ignoring what's coming will make it go away. Well it want! The old ways and the old days are gone and people like you will be the ones hurting.
No where does it say you have to always take a 10 hour break in the sleeper. Nor does it say you have to always take full 10 hour break you can split break 8 where ever and 2 at the shipper, receiver or wherever.

i know guys at elog companies who say they sit more now than ever, because planners and sales dont have their act together
and then the companies pay them layover after 24hrs, so guess what happens at the 23rd hour? they get a load that picks up tomorrow
i will say this, you guys can keep your elogs and your eobrs
they say it is coming anyway, that may be true, but if there we were in a line to be executed, i would not be the first, but the last to step forward -
Does that make me like the executioners assistant?
DrtyDiesel and volvodriver01 Thank this. -
volvodriver01 Thanks this.

An additional factor is all of the Mexican and Canadian trucks added into the already declining freight volume....from my research, most all companies are only averaging 2200-2400 miles per week...and the advertising for drivers is promoting the same. -
7-UP Thanks this.

Just to make EZX100 and Volvodriver01 cringe I thought I'd share that I just got a phone call seeing if I wanted to do some work for another local company. They just started using EOBR's and what not. I guess they're looking for an executioners assistant.
