I'm obviously out of my league . That's #### funny. lol

One of my hot button issues is " driving is a privilege ". I guess the constitution should say You have the right to drive your ox kart...........

from a legal perspective, driving a 'horse" is no different than driving a car

and who would try to regulate folks driving their horse? that would be the epitome of NOT - liberty

but we have been told this lie since we were small, and we repeat it over and over

this gives the government undue rights over our movement and mobility

you buy a car, you pay taxes, you are a citizen; hence driving is a right, better to say, mobility is a right, whether thru walking, horse or car

Yes, Amish buggys are regulated. They must have minimal lighting and reflectors to comply with states laws.
They must also have a device to catch the road apples,

You know how I know you're a Liberal anti-gunner? You said "CLIP"... LOL Nobody except MSNBC News anchors call a magazine a "clip".

Oh and there is no such thing as a 200 round "clip" or mag for an A/R (Armalite Rifle) Yes AR is an abbreviation for Armalite Rifle not "assault rifle".

All I know about the Amish is that I didn't enjoy selling them Ice Cream on July 7th when it was 104 degrees. They came out of everywhere and surrounded me, the aroma wasn't pleasant.

    thats apples and organges, auto

having lights and horns are one thing

telling someone they cannot drive because they do not have the right is quite another

i could even understand taking away the RIGHT TO DRIVE, or a right to mobility, if you do A B and C infractions

but to refer to it as a privilege is rather disingenuous

Also a AR-15 by itself is far from an "assault" rifle. It's a semi-automatic, meaning you pull the trigger and only one round comes out. It's military counterpart, the M-16 is a automatic. Also, please note that the shooter at Sandy Hill did NOT use the AR-15. It was found in his car. Stop blaming the gun and blame the idiot behind it. A gun isn't going to wander off and start shooting people on it's own.

So the Amish in IN have apple collectors that don't work, and the ones in south east MN went to court because the bright markings on the rear of the buggy violated their rights and got it changed to a plain white triangular reflector.

The ones east of Fennimore, in Wi, have flashing red strobes on their buggies, kind of like the Amish bicycles have in IN.

You'd think they were law enforcement officers in buggies and on bicycles, in 'plain' clothes.

Gotta love those LED headlights they use now in some places instead of the lanterns.
