Until the batteries ran down. Even then, they would provide spares. :biggrin_2559:

Want to see it stop? Lobby your congressman for hourly wages for drivers. ALL drivers.

HOS rules have always worked against me. I can't think of one time where I said to myself, "thank god I'm out of hours... I'm too tired to drive any longer."

So I don't buy into the notion that HOS rules are in place to protect me from some overbearing company. --YMMV

Yeah, And I was just pullin your chain on that first post 'cause it sounded to me that you wanted it both ways. :biggrin_25522:

I've just seen regulation after regulation get piled on, and from where I'm sitting things are only getting worse.

Instead of enforcing current laws/regulations, they just keep adding to the stack...? Is that what I'm reading here?

    Pretty much it. SSDD

200 years of "lawmaking" tends to add up.

Ha, I quoted that the other day. I had a driver us PC during their break and driver 100 miles closer to their consignee. The reason I was given was that they were "too sick" to stay in the rest area so they had to drive to a truck stop because they were throwing up so much they needed medication. :biggrin_25513:

Just be happy i's not my perceived notion of when you're fatigued?

I probably shouldn't have even said that because I'm not sure what it means.:biggrin_2555:
