Would not care to bet?
This is the government we are talking about.
Anyway, the FMCSA does not have the power to end the program dictated by the congress.
Why CSA 2010 and E-Logs are a good thing.

You're right, it #### well could happen there, these e logs are just the beginning and once they figure out that revenue from fines is easily gathered and a great stealth tax the laws and restrictions come hard and fast , here it's gone to the point where it interferes with civil liberties in my view and they haven't helped anyone, in the days where we used not pay too much attention to the tachos I was home for 3 days a week if I wanted with about 30% more pay, so who do they help?retiredguest Thanks this.

Yeah! Going to prison for HOS violation sounds like the America I want my kids to grow up in.
-
Yup that's happening here, England and belguim are the biggest culprits but other countries are introducing it too, interfering with the recording device is classed as fraud , fraud means you go to prison and have a record, it's the only job you go to prison for doing overtime ! It's wrong and I urge u guys to resist the introduction of 'the spy in the cab'retiredguest Thanks this.

You are 100% right but it seems like nobody wants to think about that. As a matter of fact, seems like a lot of sheeple welcome it but it's been the mindset that Government will protect us from ourselves/eachother for some time now, but won't/don't listen to people who've been there. No, we can make big government work here because this is the United States, eventhough it's failed everywhere else in the world. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid..... Well I've gotten political now so I'm 10/7Scania man said: ↑Yup that's happening here, England and belguim are the biggest culprits but other countries are introducing it too, interfering with the recording device is classed as fraud , fraud means you go to prison and have a record, it's the only job you go to prison for doing overtime ! Man I could have sworn I heard all this when they inacted the last xxx number of laws. Go kiss up to the DOTTheophilus said: ↑Around 3700 trucking companies have been put out of business due to the new laws since the law went into effect. The outlaw companies are being shut down. Soon there will be no more companies that can take that load that must be run illegal. Those days are over.
Shippers and Receivers, sales, brokers, drivers, etc and all who are involved with the industry are going to be forced to comply with the rules.
Meaning that everyone will have to be on the same page, the days of outlaw trucking are over.
Many drivers if they continue the path of the outlaw will not be able to be hired by other companies. The companies who do not follow the rules WILL be shut down and the drivers of the outlaw companies no longer have a job.
Companies will not be able to hire you, if you are a driver with multiple out of service violations due to driving out of hours or, poorly maintained equipment.
Understand that those of us that make it through this (and many will not) will be in a position to make great money. Many will not make it through this (drivers and companies alike).
Understand where things are going, have a pair and tell dispatch where to stuff it.
Get with the program or don't drive.
I'm so sick of you SOBS that run illegal, it will be nice to hear you say, "do you want fries with that?" once you can no longer drive.Click to expand... -
A-car what I know is the Canadians bring there cement, asphalt and just about everything else down here. I have to compete with these carriers on a daily basis . I'm a bulk hauler and they affect the rates greatly. I'm sure you don't see them down south but your time will come. Enjoy your night.
