I applied to these ***clowns two years ago when I started driving. They sent me a blunt email a couple of days after I applied that stated and I quote:"Schneider Has Denied Your Application"(not even a phone call-says A LOT for the content of their character). I guess it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Fast forward two years later, they're still sending me stuff in the
mail trying to get me to sign on with them.
But I've found a good use for that, especially at truck stops that don't have toilet paper in the bathrooms.
See you in about 45 minutes...;)

I quit because I was offered a job that paid better. I enjoyed Schneider. I was on the bulk side and I have nothing bad to say about them. I was at. 45 cpm when I left. Trimac was offering me. 65 cpm. The difference was just too great for me to justify.

Honest question. Why decrease by 7-8%? On 3k miles it's 210-240 miles which equals to $105-120 a week or $5000-6000 a year. That's like a month of working for free!

I was a company driver for them from late 2007 until early 2012.

At the time I hired on, I had been out of trucking for over three years, and they gave me a chance to come back as an experienced driver if I could pass a road test, which I did. I ultimately left because I could do better elsewhere, and I did so,at Crete by about 10k dollars a year, no exaggeration. My last two years of earnings at SNI were within $85 dollars of one another. I liked the people I worked with, never had any serious equipment complaints, and got home when needed. But the difference in potential earnings was too great to ignore.

I started with Schneider in 2011, regional dry van. A year later I transfered over to the Viracon flatbed account. The pay was good and I really liked the flatbed work. The trailers had rolling tarps so no hand tarping. At times it felt like I was working for a small company....until we had to deal with Green Bay with all of their micro managing. In the end I got tired of all the corporate bs and in 2015 decided to move on, found sonething that paid just as well.
