    Not in Maryland.

In MD overweight tickets are written to the driver.

Put all these on your phone. Except maybe the audiobook one lol. Find pilots and scales and loads etc. Get organized man...mo reason to not know where the scales are. Trucker path is a phone hog and general pita imo but when your screwed and it's late and you just gotta get tucked away somewhere is not the time to be installing apps....

That's cheating, all I had was an air pressure gauge, which was surprisingly accurate, btw,, and the spring ride trucks, you were really on your own,,,,but I agree, don't let the loader tell you. It's your baby, not theirs.( even though, they DO load trucks all day) The only backfire of that is, if they WERE right, good luck on getting repositioned.

Always eer on the side of caution. I always weigh if I'm not sure. Last load I weighed I knew I was good on gross but weighed it just in case and the drives and tandems were both 28k. So pretty far on the light side of what I personally would weigh.

True but scale tickets don't effect your license. They are non DOT violations that carry no CSA points.

Which translates as "Screw you driver for making me do my job properly!"

Had that fight numerous times. The fast way to end that fight is to take a simple stand and don't deviate from it.

"Load it the way I told you to, or take it off."

Learn that phrase. Love that phrase. Take it too dinner, maybe a nice show, and to bed with you every night. YOU are the one responsible for the load once it hits your deck. YOU get to pay the consequences if it's wrong. And YOU get final say in how it gets loaded. Shipper don't like it? Fine. Leave. Let the shipper find himself some other idiot.

Be aware that leaving a shipper without dispatch approval may result in you getting terminated from your employment. Always have a back up plan a "F You" money in your pocket. A good driver is the type that WILL walk away from a bad load. And a good driver has a real hard time staying unemployed, even in this current market. Be a good driver.

For anyone that has sliding tandems, especially rookies or folks that seem to always have to get 3 or more CatScale tickets before they get tandems set right, I highly recommend this app.

You can use it for free if you have a data connection, or you can buy it by the month, year, or lifetime. Lifetime purchase is like $25. If you purchase it there are extra features available (like maximize tandem weight). Go through the setup page to input your equipment info such as number of holes, hole spacing, ect.

Its not perfect, but close enough that I never get 2 CatScale tickets unless I'm grossing over 79,800. It has aved me oodles of time over diguring out where I need to slide to with pen and paper or in my head.

Ya but the pisser for this new driver is hes still in his trainer truck...this is costing him cash money out of his paychecks....trainer gets off Scott free effort wise and penalty wise.
That's why I said trainer belongs beaten in a ditch somewhere. And I'm a pacifist. But w.t.a.f...
