What harm are they doing to you? You got issues if you're that worried whether or not a driver is nose in or nose out.
why do Bobtails do this?

I look at it this way I am an OTR driver that needs to park and sleep If the truck stop has bobtail I will park in there but if they don't I don't see why I should have to go to walmart and not have access to showers etc. I pay a lot of money to these truck stops. Im not bobtail often but I dont get mad at people that park in a spot when they are bobtail unless they have bobtail spots. Sometimes I think drivers just want to be mad about something.

So if I have a trailer I can park there. If I don't I shouldn't? Use your imagination. Pretend I have a trailer!
crxdc and PoleCrusher Thank this. -
I pull in and no bobtail spots I take a slot. A bobtail leaves after I've pulled the yellow and stop my clock, I'm not moving. You show up and it looks like I'm not being courteous. There's no way for you to know what the lot looked like a half hour ago. If I had my 53' trailer on you couldn't park here anyway.
crxdc, PoleCrusher and HotH2o Thank this. -
At the sapp bros. T/stop we park 3 or 4 btails in the outside parking spot while waiting for trailers to get loaded, if 3ed shift got 1 loaded an some driver has us blocked in he just has to pull up to let bobtail out then go back to sleep till it cleared out in the daylight then find a real spot to park in.

society and common courtesy has changed
if you need that explained your already deeply rooted into the problem -
Bobtails can't park along the curb, as the big hooded trucks are parked along them.

i have parked and taken 2 spots while waiting to swap trailers when the other driver is a solo and will be taking a break there and i wont be leaving immed. and the lot is filling up fast...

you might complain about the bobtail taking that spot but there is probably a very good chance if he didnt then someone else would of took it before you got there anyway. Bobtails have to park too but yes its much easier to find spots just about anywhere as long as your permitted to be driving in that area. I have several spots I normally choose since I do not like wasting 30min a day getting to the closest truck stop especially when I run dang close to my 11hr daily.
