Why do drivers hang broken tarp straps from their steps?

    I personally don't care where you guys stick them or what reason, just pic the broken ones up off the ground and throw them away. I'm tired of pulling in lots where a bunch of flat bedders tarp and running over them and the hooks they left behind.

    That is pretty annoying....I always keep the hooks when I break a strap anyway.

    You never know when you might need a couple.
