Back in 94 i got a thicket for 112mph. two weeks later i got a new truck loked at 87mph, didn't like it. now i have my own truck and 65 mph is mostly fast enough for me.

15 mpg? Not even my SUV gets that. Sounds like a bunch of you know what! I once got 12 mpg doing 55 mph bobtailing in California with 13 liter and super singles but that dropped as soon as i got to Tejon.

If I could get 15 mpg I would be tempted to go out and buy a new truck.

I would go in the hole and get everyone of them, at 15 mph the market for fuel efficient fleet would be gold imho.

I could get 15 mpg outa my old v8 tag axle, with no trailer and the axle lifted, the world record for a loaded truck is held by mercedes @ 12mpgs, I think you need to brush up on your math or catch the trip computer and fire it out the window

You don't have a clue! Did you really think for one minute that anyone would believe this? You sound like some invalid newby that thinks he knows more than the companys and drivers that have been around for ever. It is not insurance that dictates to every company what speed they will set their trucks at. It is the owner of the company that says what the speed will be set at. A smart fleet owner will govern the speed of his trucks, otherwise people like you that don't have the mental fortitude to think for themselves would run them out of business running around at 80mph.
