I have seen that happen, rare as it may be driver does play a big part in fuel mil. Type of load ,trl, weight, as well as gearing are big factors as well along with idle time. Wish mine would have worked out also. Oh and also terrain that you run on. Enjoy that big kitty wish you the best.

he was "saving fuel"
i drove down to Ruther Glen, fueled, ate, showered, talked a bit to some guys, (not too long), got back in the truck and before i hit Richmond, i passed him again
he was traveling as you may, and he may have said to himself as you said, i was in a hurry going nowhere, i say i was getting my load where it had to go
i was relaxed, fueled and fed
he was still trudging along with his bladder about to burst
i like it my way betterfireba11 Thanks this. -
It's whatever floats your boat. If I need to gain some time I will kick it up but only then.
700 mile trip
@70 10hr drive time
@60 11.6 hr drive time.
Depending on the truck they are driving the slower time will save you $35 to $55 then the one driving 70. It's the driver of the truck if he decides his time is worth the extra money or not. I like the money cause it adds up load after load and money is why I am out here
