Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

Sure, but that's only because you allow heavier trucks. If they would be forbidden, price would have to be higher, to compensate the extra runs you have to do, to move same amount of cargo.

So no real advantage for transport owner.

I found a price for a new 10 x 4 BAS mining truck, in Euro III (for Africa) - € 238.500

 

So 8X8 euro 6 has to be a lot more money.......


Seems the cat truck is not that far off in price for real off road.......

There is valid point to be made by using trucks to do mining work,apperently.
I have to say i was amased how expensive those articulated dumptrucks are.
