Perhaps you should patent a better one and make millions off of it.

The motors are 1.25 HP or about 1kW, that's not so much. -
It is remarkably efficient as it will likely provide 120 psi to the system for a million miles, without causing downtime or unnecessary repair bills. I could reduce the parasitic loss even more by sourcing air to the compressor between the filters and the turbo rather than using air from the intake manifold.
The cost of fuel to run this compressor, on this truck, is de minimus. Please tell me what compressor you would recommend for a replacement.Humblepie, spyder7723, spsauerland and 2 others Thank this. -
Ive run trucks on the dyno and it takes a bit more then 1.25hp to run the fanHumblepie, spsauerland, Cat sdp and 1 other person Thank this. -

All these electric Motors to drive the ancillaries will require a Big Alternator/generator.
Will the power required to produce the electricity be any less than the power required for the engine to direct drive the ancillaries??
The Alternator/generator & electric Motors will also produce heat which will need to cooled/dissipated, also requiring energy...
I'm aware that the driver for all this (for want of a better word) Hoohaa is reducing emissions. But some of it seems to be a bit (shall we say) self defeating.. -
They will use the heat from the motors and brakes in some kind of star trek warp drive........
