Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

why you post here 20 year old interior, lets compare
Volvos 2018! vs Europe 2017!

 

i guess volvo might be designed by same person, with preferences made by local drivers,
while drivers visit workshops they get list with their wishes which manufacturers take in consideration when developing new model.

i dont like volvo cab at all, starting from wierd entrance, low doors steps , bulge on doors, angle of doors....
we have taken brand new fully equipped 750hp heavy haul volvo as trade in for MB, i have tried to check fuel consumption for 5 minutes, our driver says he was trying to do that for 4hours without sucess, also he says he could not find cruise control, when going to sit your head will hit console above windshield, ishift knob obstruct moving trough cab, air condition is placed very low, worst than on daf, too much displays but no infos. displays are very difficult to rear font is strange, seat is good, cab is noisy on high speeds, very little space inside as it is shortest cab in europe, gearbox is very clever and smooth, engine develops bit strange power response, very comfortable to drive, hate amount of knobs around szeerinh wheel

I don't mind that. Add some more gauges and it'd be perfect.

 

They both suck. Id rather have the 359 interior.

 

I think the name of this thread should be; "Knowing that European trucks are far superior to North American trucks, why are there so many at European truck shows, but virtually none at North American truck shows?"

Isn't that their attitude?

I dont know how long does this dashboard is in FL, Mb have it since 2011.

We will have more and more common things in future. I am really wondering why WS still dont use MB hub reduction axles instead of SISU.
