You can always make more per mile on short hauls but an Op needs to look at total net revenue for the trip on a per day basis. Due to fixed costs a little extra net per day is where the profit is. Up to a point Even if actual rate could be better.

That’s right the loss coming out of an area or visa versa has to be considered.I try to run consistent and steady with my dry van. Reefer would be more profitable at times. But I would have to follow the freight and not miss out on certain seasons. This way I work when I want and take time off at any given time. I don’t care what you pull or haul there’s always a trade off. Plenty of Choices in this Industry. It all takes hard work to accomplish.

If you were able to take her out for a good steak dinner while covering the bills. I’d call it a success. Works for me.

I’d say better than most Leased operators despite the big stories. Jealous of hot tub. Still trying to figure out how to set one up in the Truck

Dave that silicon is a bit high. Sure your not using a little Lucas? Must have some secret weapon up your sleeve.Holding out on Us?First the tires getting exceptional wear now this!!! Time to come clean Dave!! Just kidding IMO no metal on the drain plug and a drop of oil on paper towel to check for fuel is a successful oil sample. Had 1 recently though silicon was 2 with 10% Lucas. Don’t know what else causes high silicon

My mistake boron level sign of additive silicon sign of deformed agent or dirt level according to my sample.
