    The mega's would love to see a strike like that.
    They'll dispatch the lease/purchase drivers for those loads, because they'll haul for $.80 to $1.00 a mile.

    mega corps have contracted freight, look how many loads are on the load boards, Mega cannot cover all that plus the contracted, the latest issue of the American Trucking Association # 1 complaint by the Mgas is Driver retention, less drivers every year since 2005

    Ohh man, I just went on strike from last Wednesday til Sunday night. Hope it raised the rates.

    Same rant...different driver....different day. Besides, people pull cheap freight because of ignorance, lack of legit options, or sometimes people just have to roll with the lean times and do the best they can and survive. Striking is not an option. Not in this day and age. If one person won't haul it, somebody will
