I found $3.14 in Ohio yesterday. Perhaps you should stop relying on the big truck stops. Florida and Pennsylvania will always have expensive fuel

Hear that @Ruthless? I’m not bright, and you’re a genius.

Maybe ol Ramo can make money as a psychic, seems really sharp. My money is on this strike gaining traction.

If I want a rose, I just go to FTD online and order them. Thorns avoided and freshness guaranteed:thumbup:

SMH, if you pull off the load board, can you tell me what dictates the rate?? The load that pays $2000 to the truck, the broker earns $1,000. That seem fair to you??

Ok keep pulling cheap. Let's see how good it gets from here.

Just finished rubbing my crystal ball and it says the market is about to be flooded with slightly used equipment at reasonable prices. Go figure. Happens every time.

actually Wednesday on 75 in Ohio by Findlay a couple were down to 2.97 ...... rates are still high compared to last year .... if you are just working the open load boards your the first one and sometimes the only one to see the rates fall and actually if you are just working off the load boards that's not very bright anyways

I second what Ruthless said. If you can’t make money in this market you need to find a different career because you never will make money. I mainly haul contract freight with a fuel surcharge and make more money the higher fuel goes. I also have netted consistently $2,000 a week more than I did in 2017 therefore my 2018 is going to be my best year in 31 years of trucking. The only thing I do better than trucking is crunching numbers and I dare the OP to tell me I don’t know my numbers. Maybe the OP should find successful owner ops and find out what they are doing different than he is instead of complaining about how bad things are.

So is this a “yes” or “no” on joining the strike? Take your time.
