Why does "backhaul" refer to cheap freight?

Don't think this will make you all feel better and I'm sorry but we have been at this O/O full time for 26+ yrs. hubby is 58 truck is pd for and to tell you the truth we have seen hard times and seen sloppy operators go by the way side, we have seen small co's that got to dippin to heavy into co's till to support personal pleasures, or just out goofin off instead of Takin' care of Business....but now it has become scary, and if we don't start drillin our OWN oil and building more refineries and forget about all the bunny huggars the the Board of Trade will sell America down the tubes to line their pockets. The board to trade runs up the prices thoese white shirts don't ever work hard enough to sweat but ......oh never mind I'm just so mad I'm gonna hit the showers just got back home from a 5 day tour to see the family. I don't need to get upset after the long drive my pony is tired and I need to relax...
Have Pony but can't afford to travel -
well its not een wensday yet and i have seen $4.25/gallon
whats it gonna be like next week?? i dont know but im headed home.
anyone know how many states now average over $4/gallon?
it has to be about half by now -
