I always fueled and ate at the Steele city. Never had a problem, except once, during construction of the new fuel pumps. I parked in front to grab a quick coffee, as usual. The Security Guard didn’t like that. I just ignored her. Then another one showed up. They demanded my ID, or else I would be handcuffed and charged for failure to identify myself. I handed it over, hoping to just get out of there. Then they wanted me to sign an affidavit saying I’d never return, and if I did would be subject to prosecution. I got in my Truck, locked the doors, and called the Police. They were surprised when the real Cops showed up!! Lol. Who called the Police? I did!! I demanded my License back. The Officer suggested I just sign the paper. No, I said give me a ticket, take me to jail, whatever. I think they should give me my License back. No right to be confiscating my License. I left and called the manager later. They fired the Security Officer, She was a rough one, Off Duty E. Chicago Cop with a bad attitude, moonlighting. The Manager called me back and apologized, bought me steak dinner, and apologized in person. Good times!!Last edited: Aug 22, 2022

I'm at Mr.Fuel (one 9) in Indianapolis, IN right now. It's clean and nice. There are three FlyingJ/Pilot/One 9 on this exit. The Pilot across the street was such a mess with trash that I drove over here. Glad I did because this one is nice.
Bumper Thanks this. -
I go by that one all the time heading to and from Louisville KY. Will have to remember to take a look. We can fuel at any station that takes our Comdata Card.
