So this trailer was fine in the morning when the pretrip was done ( according to the driver) but later in the day the crack developed and rusted. The quality of the image may not be good enough but at high res you can see that the insides of the crack are rusted - there is no shiny metal indicating a fresh break. And this trailer was hauling down the roads beside your families and mine.

You want to get a creeper on your next home time, or only do a level one inspection when you get home time? Hehehehee

If there's one thing I never forget to check it's the fifth wheel. I've heard stories of people getting their fifth wheels released in truck stops.

To the guy wanting a creeper: Just find Flo the Waitress. Plenty of creepers around when she makes a post! :biggrin_25520:

I want to buy an automotive creeper that I can use to get under the truck and do a better pretrip. I am not talking about the creeper you see at the truck stops or street corners...

Yes I do know that. Just like to do my research and find the right one and figure out the best place to keep it on my small truck.

    Mixed opinion....

Personally, what I typically do is a walk around every morning. Checking lights, tires, looking for spills, look at fifth wheel (#### pranksters), check oil and coolant level, you know...obvious things. Once a week (normally right after my 34 hour reset Ill do a full pretrip where I check everything
