At my Company you load with a forklift then go make your stops some LTL jobs are drop and hook and some are unloading yourself it just depends on which LTL job. They pay by the hour and are usually good hourly rates. But yes a time schedule. I am leaving out tomorrow on TL taking a LTL load to Atlanta (my second home) and it's time sensitive. What I love about running LTL as a TL driver is as long as I make it on time which isn't hard it's just easy drop and hooks.
