Why does Western Region Pay Ca-Ca?

I pay $1600 on property taxes a year and I have over an acre of land. Yup, that in Cali, but not in the city. I drive enough in it, don't want to live in it.

 

No! Please stop telling people to move here. It's already bad as it is... Traffic is shet... And it became a Democrat state... Thanks to all the liberals that are moving in from CA and the like.... Housing is going up.. so is crime... You seen major streets lately? Can't take in anymore cars...

Plus we have water issues just like socal. Summers are 110-115+ hard to be outside. Gun ownership might become harder if question (forgot the number) gets approved in the next voting cycle. It will be worse than in CA to own guns... A lot of people become broke/homeless because they can't stay away from casinos/gambling everywhere... This city has made a lot of people broke...

Im looking at moving out in a couple of years if things keep getting bad...

 

Move back to Cali, your more than welcome. We want you hard earn money for Taxes.

Local, local, local is where the money is at in ca. Paid by the hour with O.T. it's not hard to find gigs paying north of 90k a year.

 

I understand! Believe it or not, I've never gambled in Nevada. The last time I gambled was many years ago in Portsmouth, England and lost every dime I had. That taught me a lesson I've never forgotten. Every dime I had wasn't much, but broke is broke.

 

I feel you. Grew up in Las Vegas, and it's getting just as bad as CA. Now that I travel I can hardly notice the difference between socal and Vegas tbh... It's growing so much and it looks almost identical (the new areas)

 

It's hard to find a place with decent weather year round plus affordable housing in a safe neighborhood. The whole country is turning into one big slum area; it's depressing.

 

I visited Montana a lot with my previous company and I started to like it. Down side is winter but upside looks like a safe place to live, loved the summer atmosphere, people in the rivers and what not fishing or just chilling down the current with a beer, looked good.

Liked Missoula, Bozeman, Helena.. great falls, they look similar, would probably choose Missoula, then I can go work for Jim Palmer lololol. Or back to Texas I go if oil makes a comeback.

The country is in sad state of affairs, this is nothing yet... I have a feeling things will have to get worse before they get better.
