With a speed limited truck that’s running e-Logs what can you do to correct it?

Now I'll have that tune stuck in my head all day. At least it's one of my favorites.

Other than running as soon as the log allows after break/reset and keeping the door closed there is nothing you can do.

I tell dispatch that other than a traffic, weather, construction or something else I can't forsee I'll be on time . But they need to take what a truck GPS says it'll take and then add in 1 to 1½ hours for life. I'm required to do a :30 break and there is always the possibility I'll need:30 for a potty emergency.
Also when I have clear roads my truck that's governed at 72mph can average 65mph if I'm on it. All this has to be considered when estimating arrival times.

Simple. They have plenty of brownie points with whichever dispatcher will cover their ###.

Check out this magic trick: I was checking in at the same time and it was regional so same drivers a lot.

Drivers who are maybe on time once a month for OTR or twice a week for regional are likely light years more common than is politically-correct to suggest......

If I was late a lot I would be mortified of this becoming a hot topic...

Well with the way I was brought up, if you’re not early you’re late.

That idea was drummed into my head as a kid.

Then I got out in the real world and ground out that showing up more than 5 minutes early was just as disrespectful of the other person's time.
