Hey Fellas
Back in January I was hired on by Greyhound. Went to Atlanta on the bus for training. The hardest seats ive ever experienced. I think the ride was 11 hours. I would've quit then if I had plane fare back home. They actually have a terrific program to teach people how to drive. They also teach customer service but its kinda hard to teach the Gangstas how to be nice. The starting pay was 19.20. I never took a Greyhound Bus before, if I had would have never signed up.
In my short time working for them I saw some crazy shizz. One night a crazy Haitian woman boarded the bus. Throughout the trip she was hitting the gin awfully hard. Halfway she starts chanting in French and then starts blurting out The U.S Marshals are coming for ME. She did that for about an hour. A young guy closest to her reaches up to get something out of his luggage and the lady decks him with a overhand Joe Frazer punch. Then yells at the top of her lungs' Eat MY Pu$$$ I'll never forget the expression on that young guys face. The Lady must have been the Haitian ladies boxing champ. One of the scariest places ive been to is the Greyhound Bus Station in Nashville TN Wouldn't never go there at night unless I had a machine gun. Appreciated the opportunity to drive through Tennessee. Never realized how pretty that state is. More than half the state is the smokey mountain national park I believe.
why greyhound? why?
Thanks kemosabi, I bet they run those van drivers ragged, as I'm sure they fly under the radar, as far as rules go. We have a pretty big UP yard in town, and there is always an ad looking for drivers.
They don't its actually a pretty easy job good for retired truck drivers or full time students that want to make some extra cash as it def does not pay a living wage."semi" retired Thanks this. -
